Hollywood Production Center: Community Blood Drive, Entertainment Tech
American Red Cross Blood Drive
Los Angeles, Calif., May 23, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Hollywood Production Center continued its tradition of hosting American Red Cross Blood Drives on Friday, May 19, at their Glendale location on West Lexington. A Red Cross donation truck was parked outside from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and, as always, was open to the community. Giving back to the community is important to Hollywood Production Center, and, in the past, the center has hosted Red Cross Blood Drives at locations in both Glendale and Hollywood. The goal for this event was to collect 28 pints of blood, enough to save approximately 90 lives.
Tech & Media Event
Hollywood Production Center is excited for their upcoming Tech & Media event on May 24, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at 127 South Brand in Glendale. Attendees will engage in panel discussions on how technology has evolved alongside entertainment and revolutionized the industry. Also at the event, 20 start-ups will demonstrate their products and 5 start-ups will pitch innovative ideas.
