The series premieres on FX, January 21 at 10:00 pm. Co-created by Galifianakis, Louis C.K., and Jonathan Krisel, the story follows main character Chip Baskets who dreams of becoming a French clown. Failing to achieve a degree at a prestigious Paris clowning school and facing financial difficulties, he returns home to family and an atmosphere fraught with sibling rivalry in Bakersfield, California where the closest thing to clown school is the local rodeo.
