The RKD Studio enhances the digital presence of San Antonio's Historic Landmark

This historic landmark benefits from having an updated digital presence offering an improved website visitor experience. The site was designed by The RKD Studio, an experiential design and marketing agency for the events industry. The RKD Studio is the newest brand of hospitality and culinary trailblazer, The RK Group.
The website architecture and flow was directed and led by Joel Tarasiuk, Director of Visual Communications, of The RKD Studio. The information structure was designed to be fully responsive across all smartphones, tablets and desktops. “The website was created with the latest technology and trends to provide a single destination for event planning at Sunset Station,” says Tarasiuk. The overall objective for this project was to meet all needs of corporate and social event planners, as well as consumers.

VP of Marketing and Communications, Jessica Zapatero, provided art direction for the photography of the new website. “To complement the contemporary web design, we chose bold, large images that capture the architectural details of the historic venue,” explains Zapatero. Other website enhancements include a 360 degree aerial view, detailed floor plans and maps of the Sunset Station property and vicinity. Planners can refer to the website as a visual aid of the entire venue positioned within St. Paul Square.
The flagship brand of The RK Group, Rosemary’s Catering, has been offering full-service, custom catering and event services for the popular venue for over a decade.
