Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa Celebrates Multi-Million Dollar Renovation With Spectacular Party

CLEARWATER BEACH, Fla., January 2, 2019 (Newswire.com) - ​Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa, an icon of Clearwater Beach for nearly four decades, hosted its famous Peppermint Twist Party on Thursday, Nov. 29 in the hotel’s spectacular Grand Ballroom. The chic invitation-only event was attended by over 200 party guests, including local dignitaries and industry influencers. Guests were dazzled with lavish food and festivities throughout the evening.

The holiday-themed gathering was a spectacular public unveiling of the legendary hotel’s extensive multi-million dollar renovation, completed last month. Highlights of the magnificent remodel include a beautiful new bi-level open lobby, new front entrance with round-about, all newly renovated meeting rooms and brilliant new LED lighting systems throughout the hotel. This impressive renovation follows the expansive $20 million remodeling which was completed in June 2017. Those improvements included all new guest rooms, multiple interior upgrades, two new pools, a new restaurant, a new spa, a new fitness center and a newly opened Starbucks.

As guests arrived at the Peppermint Twist Party they were able to witness for the first time the new paver round-about entryway and large, contemporary new bi-level lobby. Once in the lobby, they were greeted by live music, an open bar, a delicious fresh seafood raw bar and a sparkling red peppermint twist themed cocktail.

The party continued upstairs in the spacious remodeled Ballroom, which dazzled party-goers from the moment they walked in. It featured chic red and white decorations, twinkling lights, live entertainment and a wide array of the finest food on Clearwater Beach. The impressive selection of food included fresh grouper, blackened sea scallops, wild venison, and spicy Cajun etouffee. The expansive array of food was highlighted with an extraordinary dessert table featuring holiday-themed cakes which seemed almost too beautiful to slice and a large coffee bar with all the trimmings including fresh whipped cream.

In addition to the delicious food, the Peppermint Twist Party was accented with personalized hotel tours to give guests an opportunity to fully see the extensive renovations. Numerous holiday gift baskets and valuable gift certificates were also raffled off to several lucky party attendees. These outstanding gifts included a hefty Herradura basket, a Clearwater Marine basket, several Spa baskets and multiple Starbucks’ baskets.
