On January 18, 2016, Los Angeles - based Faraday Partners will launch a Kickstarter campaign for HighLight Chandelier Bulb Changer, an innovatively designed tool used for replacing out of reach light bulbs.

"There's an estimated 10-20 million chandeliers hanging in American homes, many of which are out of reach. Each chandelier has at least 5 bulbs, all of which will burn out. That's 50-100 million bulb changes that will be made over time. Chandeliers also require additional maintenance such as dusting. Until now, there's only one way to do either of those tasks, getting up on a ladder!'

The unmitigated enthusiasm of Jim Ellis, a world- renowned composer, and song writer, and creator of HBC over his brand new chandelier has led him to the discovery of this innovative bulb changing tool. When 2 of its bulbs are not burning Jim was forced to do the impossible - defy death! Stand at the very top of an insanely tall ladder, try to turn around and reach out and over to the fixture, twist it around if necessary. Holding the chandelier with one hand and change the bulb with the other - a balancing act worthy of Cirque du Soleil.

Thus, after 2 years and much careful study, Jim and his team are proud to launch officially, the Highlight Chandelier Bulb Changer!

The HBC is made up of certain interesting features: the adaptive bulb grabber, innovatively designed to allow the safe removal of an enormous variety of bulbs in all sizes.   The bulb grabber contains a catching skirt at the opening in case a bulb slip out of its grasp.

Other maintenance like light dusting or painting can also be done with the help of the versatile HBC by attaching tools such as paint rollers, cleaning brush, etc. to its drive spindle extension.

The HBC device is 6' 3" long, its collapsible 3-pc. pole enables the HBC to extend its reach even beyond 14 ft. high - a few inches less for a chandelier.

The HBC Kickstarter campaign aims to raise $10,000 to fund its production costs. Potential backers are offered with inviting rewards, such as multiple packs of HBC or a minute of product, video, or website theme song penned specifically for backers by musician Jim Ellis.

The campaign will run for 35 days from January 18, 2015 until February 25, 2016.
