Two Highlands Oncology Group Physicians Voted "Very Best" in Oncologist Category
Rogers, Arkansas, December 6, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Highlands Oncology Group, Northwest Arkansas’ leading cancer treatment provider, is proud to announce that two Highlands oncologists, Dr. J. Thaddeus Beck and Dr. Hershey Garner, were voted “very best” by the Celebrate Magazine’s 2016 Best of Northwest Arkansas’ Reader’s Poll.
The Best of Northwest Arkansas’ Reader’s Poll is an annual tally taken by Celebrate Magazine that gives the community the opportunity to rate businesses and services in Northwest Arkansas. Voters can offer their opinion on everything from restaurants to charities in the community.
Dr. Garner has specialized as a radiation oncologist in Northwest Arkansas for more than 20 years. Dr. Garner is very passionate and active in community organizations. He has served on the board of Circle of Life Hospice and has occasionally filled in as staff physician when needed.
Dr. Beck is continually involved in research on treatment options for breast cancer, lung cancer, lymphoma, melanoma, pancreatic cancer, colon cancer and more. He is board certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. In 2002, Dr. Beck was elected a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
