Hexnode Launches Support for Samsung SAFE EMM Solution

WALNUT, Calif., September 26, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Hexnode MDM, one of the most prominent players among the new generation Mobile Device Management vendors has announced support for the entire range of Samsung SAFE devices in their new release. Since the generic Android device administration APIs support only basic management features, MDMs usually have to integrate the product with OEM specific APIs. The SAFE features impart better and advanced management functionalities to the MDM.

Samsung introduced the enterprise-oriented solution called SAFE (Samsung for enterprise) for enhancing the security and management features that normal Android devices lack. Hexnode, who has previously added support to supervision features, the iOS alternative for enterprise-specific functionalities like SAFE. Partnering with Samsung through the Samsung Enterprise Alliance Program (SEAP), Hexnode developed platform support for SAFE for the advanced management of SAFE equipped devices. What attracts customers to Samsung SAFE is the security aspect of it, which makes the combination of MDM and SAFE a reliable source to trust the work devices with.

Hexnode has also started integrating with LG enterprise solution, GATE.
