Hero - Super Hero Art Of Skidone During Comic Con 2012 - Downtown San Diego
Online, July 1, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Mark Richmond will be displaying his renditions of famous super heros such as Avengers, Spiderman (signed by Stan Lee) himself, Wolverine, Batman, Superman, and many many others, in his unique urban, tattoo, graffiti style. A must view is the piece titled Ghost Rider vs Lobo, a modern urban take on two biker bad boys in the comics world. Both riding modern day custom choppers with cigars lit and plenty of attitude. The Spiderman vs Wolverine piece was produced back in 1994 and was viewed and signed by Stan Lee. The style has never been seen in the comics industry before, yet there are hints of some of his favorite artist / influences of Sam Kieth and Simon Bisley. This is a show not to miss, with a clear and distinctive style great for any collector of comic book art.
He will also be producing live art throughout the week of Comic Con 2012. Come to opening night and meet the artist, he will also be showcasing his underground comic QUALA and signing prints and books.
