Help Feed Hungry Pets with Pet Coupons!
Online, February 13, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Mary J Rogers of PetCouponsCentral has been in the humane field for about 30 years and has done just about every job there is to do.
Started at the M.S.P.C.A. in Boston as an ambulance driver and office assistant. Kept taking classes on dog/cat recognition, behavior and training etc. After several years there went on to Revere Police department as the Animal Control Director, revamped and developed many programs for the betterment of both cats and dogs. While there attended the NACA certification course, the first to be held in MA and then eventually went on to train other ACO's for the New England states. Eventually moved to Virginia and held three positions there, from shelter manager to humane society director.
She moved to CA five years ago thanks to the U.S.Navy and that is when she went into feline rescue and work with several groups developing their forms needed to run their facilities along with fund raising for 2 groups that she have worked with for several years. This past May while trying to figure out what more she could do for animals and their owners because of the hard times they were going through she came up with the PetCouponsCentral Program.
It is such a easy way to help many animals and their owners. They have served 100′s of folks who have needed a helping paw. They serve individuals, rescues, shelters, feral cat colony caretakers and pet foster parents. No one is ever turned away, there are no requirements just a need to feed the animals in their care.
There are two sections of the program: The first is being a "clipper" this is the backbone of the program without these dedicated folks I could not run this program. The "clipper" searches for any pet-related coupons, clips them and send them to her and she does the rest of the work. The coupons cover food, litter, treats, grooming supplies, beds, training supplies, toys etc. We accept all brands of food, treats, litter. No coupon is ever rejected, she can always find some use for it. The folks send them in weekly/biweekly or when ever it is convenient for them.
They serve many types of animals cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rats, birds, fish are some of the animals they help with the program.
The 2nd section is the request area. She goes through 100′s of sites each day to find folks that need help or receive requests through the website or word of mouth. When she gets a request she writes back a brief note to see what they need and get their address and other information and send out the coupons in the next days mail.
She always needs more "clippers" the program is growing by leap and bounds and this is such an easy way to help animals, so get a pair of scissors and start clipping coupons for this terrific program and many animals will be helped to have a better day.

P.S. You can start by printing out coupons from CritterCoupons.com (http://www.crittercoupons.com). Links to the coupons can be found at the end of the online article found at: http://www.crittercoupons.com/node/1153
You can mail these coupons or the ones you find from newspapers to:
M.J. Rogers

I would say to make sure that the coupons have at least 10 days left before the coupons expire because you have to allow for transit time.
If you know of anyone who might be in need of coupons, have them send an email to rmissmeow@aol.com with the subject line "Coupons Needed" and someone from Pet Coupons Central will get back to them.
