Founded in Sacramento in 1993, Heckler is a magazine that has covered the birth of action sports and the action sports lifestyle of California and the West Coast. In fact, HECKLER was one of the first magazines to cover Shaun White. Not only involved in action sports, but we have covered music, art, and even nightlife. By 2000 the magazine circulated all over the west coast and had 69,000 subscribers. In early 2011 the brand was purchased and became a private company. We strive to become the premier snowboarding, music and art based lifestyle Media Company. With many different contributors young and old alike, we will tie our rich history with the new generation of action sports lifestyle. Through our unwavering commitment to bringing new engaging content to the web, mobile, and physical platforms, Heckler is a new fresh face in a sea of action sports media.
