Hansen Luxury Catering & Events Production Adds Historic Site To Portfolio Of Exclusive Venues

Even after the completion of 35 successful years, Bill Hansen has kept his promise of delivering extraordinary and one-of-a-kind catering experience to his clients by adding the historic Villa Woodbine to his venue list.

During his 35 years of planning South Florida’s most elaborate and detailed corporate events and weddings, Bill Hansen has learned many things. But perhaps the most important is that no event is the same.

“Each event has its own flavor, its own personality,” said Hansen, CEO of Bill Hansen Luxury Catering & Events Production. “In many cases, those factors start with the venue, and we pride ourselves on having exclusive relationships with the most unique locations in South Florida.”

Hansen’s portfolio of exclusive venues recently expanded with the addition of the Park Place Event Space & Theatre, an historic site located at 471 NW 3rd Street in Miami. This majestic building sits on the Miami River and provides versatility for events, featuring an 800-seat theatre, a large reception room, and access to the scenic Lummus Park.

“Park Place gives people the opportunity to step back in history,” said Hansen. “The theatre hosted the old silent movies and has one of the only existing Skinner Pipe Organs. But with the recent renovation, it combines modern design with Old Miami architecture.”

With ample indoor and outdoor sites, Park Place provides versatility for all types of events, including weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, and corporate events.

“It is appealing to corporations because of the theatre and the adjacent dining rooms,” added Hansen. “Brides can choose from several outdoor and indoor locations for wedding ceremonies, cocktail receptions and dining. They also have use of Lummus Park, which offers a rustic setting on the river. It is simply a venue that combines many advantages and a strong sense of history.”

Based out of the historic Villa Woodbine historic mansion in Coconut Grove, Hansen and his team of executive chefs and planners consistently deliver on its promise of creating “one-of-a-kind” experiences that eliminate the stress during the preparation and the day of the event.

“We have become the ‘go-to” caterers and event planners for people seeking non-traditional venues,” said Hansen. “Many people want something unique as opposed to a hotel or a country club. We pride ourselves on offering our clients the most diverse selection of venues in South Florida.

In addition to Villa Woodbine and Vizcaya, Hansen offers other venues including the The Kampong, Fairchild Tropical Garden, Palm Court, the DuPont Building, The Moore Building, The Cruz Building, The Charles Deering Estate, 1111 Lincoln Road, The Gallery of Amazing Things, The Versace Mansion, The Rubell Family Collection, The Ice Palace, The Walton House, The Ancient Spanish Monastery, The Bonnet House, The Needham Estate, to name a few. He caterers at over 100 venues throughout South Florida.

There is no detail too small for Hansen and his staff.

“We offer all types of cuisine with a catering staff that rivals any 5-star restaurant in the area,” said Hansen. “Our chefs provide all types of ethnic cuisines and Kosher menus, to name a few. There isn’t a menu we cannot provide to our clients.”
