Gundaker Construction and Restoration Group Outgrows Current Location and Continues to Seek New Hires

Chesterfield, MO, March 24, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Gundaker Construction and Restoration Group's continuous growth has pushed them from their current 1500 sq ft office to 3200 sq ft of new office space. Their new, larger space will allow Gundaker to add private offices for management, along with a plan room and new show room for clients.

Build out is under way and Gundaker expects to be fully moved into the new space April 1, 2017.

In June 2013 Gundaker started as a roofing and exteriors company and did their first kitchen remodel in September 2015, but in July 2016 really ramped up their interior division when they hired Matt LaMora who has been in the industry since 1989 as a framing carpenter, and then broke into the insurance restoration industry in the early 1990's.

Matt then got into management shortly after and managed high-end projects including, kitchens, baths, additions, remodels, and full re-builds. Matt worked Hurricane Katrina Disaster Recovery, and has worked every disaster in the state of Missouri.

Matt turned his previous company from a small business to $42 million over 5 years. Matt took Gundaker Construction and Restoration Group from a roofing and exteriors company to a full-service General Contractor.

Some notable recent hires that have helped take Gundaker to the next level.

In February 2017 they hired Tim Littrell, 28 years experience in commercial and residential new construction and remodeling. Tim, throughout his 28 years, was a trim carpenter, framing carpenter, electrician, master plumber, tile setter, and painter and taper. Tim owned his own company for multiple years as well worked for some big time construction companies in St. Louis focusing on kitchen & bath remodels as well as additions, new construction; residential and commercial. Since joining Gundaker, Tim has focused primarily on large kitchen and bath remodeling projects, additions, as well as new construction, commercial and residential. 

Tim brought Project Manager, Peter Kemph with him to Gundaker as well. Peter has 15 years experience in kitchen and bath sales, design, and presentation.

Allyson Maurer has also joined the Gundaker team. Allyson was previously an insurance adjuster and is running leads for roofing, exterior, and interior jobs for Gundaker. Allyson has proved to be a great addition in multiple aspects and is working with both Matt LaMora and Tim Littrell to get Gundaker's interior division going as well as fostering the growth of the roofing and exterior division. With the growth and expansion of the company and adding Project Managers, Gundaker is still looking to bring on quality interior and exterior project managers to handle the call in leads.
