Growth Leads Omaha Company to Invest in Award-Winning Culture With New Employee-Tailored Space

The Omaha medical staffing company is planning to make the move to a new building next spring. The employees at the company have been very hands-on about what amenities they want at the new location.

Fusion to Move to New Building

Fusion Medical Staffing is investing in its current and future employees with a new, innovative workspace. The recent Best Places to Work in Omaha winner is moving to the Waterford building at 185th and Dodge.

Leaders at the company are prioritizing wellness, hybrid work, and employee satisfaction as they design the space to fit the fun and casual culture at Fusion.

"We're so excited to move into this new space," said Tara Sprakel, Chief Marketing Officer. "We've been able to grow our workforce a significant amount in the last several years, and we're eager to invest in those team members with a workplace that is truly tailored to what they want."

Sprakel has been leading focus groups at Fusion to make sure any amenities employees are wanting are able to come to fruition. Some ideas that have come to light included walking trails, a full gym with specialty classes, on-site food catering, side by side training rooms, open workspaces for creative brainstorming, and much more. Fusion leaders have also assured that a flexible and hybrid work environment will still be key.

"Fusion has always had great success in doing things differently. We're taking that same 'outside the box' approach to imagining their new office space," said RDG Partner and Interior Designer Alysia Radicia, NCIDQ. "The process is truly a collaborative one, and the result will be a work environment that's deeply responsive to the social changes we've all experienced over the past several years: a place where people feel connected, supported, and excited to come to each day."

In addition to being an investment in employees, Fusion leaders also see the new building as an investment in Omaha. The attractive new work environment will improve Fusion's ability to recruit more local talent to an award-winning culture.

"We're truly pleased to welcome Fusion to the Waterford Building," said Mike Homa, President of R&R Realty Group's Nebraska Division. "When we began work on this building, we knew it would attract the right kind of growing, forward-looking company. It's our intention to provide Fusion with a dynamic, technologically-advanced workspace where they can continue to attract talent and grow for years to come."

Fusion is currently in the planning part of the process. The company aims to move into the new building next summer. For more information on the building and its amenities, please reach out to Leah Kemple at leah.kemple@fusionmedstaff.com.
