Grown Rogue Donates to American Red Cross for Hurricane Relief
First of its kind disaster relief donation by a cannabis company
MEDFORD, Ore., October 2, 2017 (Newswire.com) - Grown Rogue — the premier Cannabis company in Southern Oregon - announced today a donation of 3% of all sales starting Oct. 1, 2017 through November 2017 toward Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma relief. The donation will be made directly to the American Red Cross and earmarked for victims in Southern Texas and Florida. Grown Rogue Founder and CEO Obie Strickler explains, “We personally understand the tragedy natural disasters can cause for families and businesses. My wife, who is a partner in the business, and I felt the right thing to do is to donate a meaningful sum for every sale we make during this time frame.”

Accuweather estimates the costs running as high as $190 billion.
