Growing New England Environmental Firm, GeoInsight, Expands Board for Strategic Growth
Geoinsight Welcomes New Board Members Kevin Trainer And Suzanne Pisano To Lead Strategic Growth
MANCHESTER, N.H., May 15, 2019 (Newswire.com) - GeoInsight, Inc. (GeoInsight), a leader in strategic environmental consulting and engineering in New England, announced that Senior Associate Kevin Trainer and Senior Engineer/Director of Compliance Suzanne Pisano have joined GeoInsight’s Board of Directors (the Board). At GeoInsight’s annual shareholder meeting held on March 21, 2019, the shareholders voted to elect Trainer and Pisano to the Board, replacing the spot being vacated by Michael Webster, senior associate and principal. GeoInsight’s other Board members include Brian Kisiel, president; Jeffery King, Connecticut regional manager; Michael Dacey, New Hampshire regional manager; and Michael Penney, director of engineering and principal.
“We are excited to add such strategic thinkers to our Board,” says Kisiel, president of GeoInsight. “Both candidates continue to impress me with their level of expertise, creativity and dedicated customer service. Having already contributed greatly to the growth of GeoInsight throughout the years, I look forward to working with them both at a level where they can continue refining our practices, providing the best services for our partners.”
Says Trainer, “GeoInsight is a fantastic company, and I’ve seen consistent growth in my 20 years here. I’m honored to have been elected by my co-workers to the Board, and I value their confidence in me. I enjoy taking action, so I’m excited to sit amongst such a strong group of leaders and contribute to expanding growth at GeoInsight.”
With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Trainer’s career has been defined by technical excellence, serving as a leader on numerous high-profile projects throughout New England as a Licensed Site Professional and Professional Geologist. His strong regulatory and management skills, coupled with perceptive creativity, make him a go-to team member for our most challenging environmental projects.
Pisano is well-known for her ability to identify and tap into new market segments. In her 10 years at GeoInsight, as the director of compliance, she has driven significant growth through our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Compliance division. “Being part of the GeoInsight team has been the best part of my career, and to be on the Board will provide me a chance to work side‑by-side with the decision makers I so admire,” says Pisano.
Pisano’s 30 years of industry experience means she has undertaken countless projects, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration program development and the growth of air emissions permitting, modeling, and treatment assessment practice. Furthermore, her experience with EHS auditing, compliance reporting, consulting and litigation, along with her strategic vision for the company, were key factors for her nomination to the Board.
