Great Opportunities for Novice, Aspiring Authors at the London Book Fair 2015

The London Book Fair (LBF), the UK's biggest book event of international book agents and publishers, has declared a Call for Entries for its The Write Stuff competition and Agent One-to-One programme and registration and display copy deadline for 2015 London Book Fair PubMatch Bookshelf.

Agent One-to-One meetings will offer aspiring authors an invaluable opportunity to communicate directly with a literary agent from a leading literary agency about their books, seek advice about writing process, and receive feedback on ideas and pitches. The Write Stuff, a Dragon’s Den-style panel event, will witness ten authors pitch their books to a panel of literary agents in the presence of an audience in Author HQ to win opportunity of a follow up meeting with a book agent. Both these events are part of a range of initiatives on offer in Author HQ, LBF’s abode for aspiring writers and are sponsored by Kindle Direct Publishing.

Novice authors participating in the PubMatch Bookshelf, a grand, official exhibit of LBF, will get an opportunity to display their books in a heavily trafficked area and get it promoted onsite before the book fair even begins by the LBF itself. Participants are expected to register for their book display at the exhibit before the deadline i.e. Monday, 16 March, 2015. Applicants of Agent One-to-One meetings are supposed to submit their applications before the deadline of Wednesday 18 March 2015, 17:00 and applicants of ‘The Write Stuff’ should submit their applications before Monday 16 March, 17:00.
