"It was disheartening news to us all, I didn't see it coming", a surprised Mark Snyir says. "It's always sad to see a fellow business owner go out of business, but seeing one of your own go down around the Holidays, that's tough".
The Penryn owners did not leave the place in shambles, to their credit. They sought employment opportunities with other TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® locations for their Movers/Drivers and office staff.
The Penryn, California location had opened up around the Fall of 2006 and had 3 trucks in its' fleet. They service area covered vast areas, such as Lincoln, El Dorado Hills, Placerville, Truckie, and up to Auburn and Green Valley.
"It is our duty to make sure that these communities do not have to sacrifice quality service because one of our locations suffered as a victim to the economy", Chad Arnold, co owner of three TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® locations throughout Northern California says. "We have placed all available resources necessary and readied additional equipment at our Sacramento location so that not one Customer or Potential Customer in that area was impacted by this change".
When news surfaced that this location was closing, owners Mark Snyir and Chad Arnold, with the help of their Home Office, moved quickly on having their main number transferred quickly to the Sacramento location, so the impact was minimal to the daily operations.
