Global Health Intelligence Announces the 2018 Best-Equipped Hospitals in Latin America
MIAMI, October 4, 2018 (Newswire.com) - Global Health Intelligence, the leading healthcare data analytics provider in Latin America, has just published HospiRank, its 2018 ranking of the best-equipped hospitals in Latin America.
HospiRank lists LatAm hospitals according to seven specific categories, including best equipped to host patients, highest counts of surgical equipment, highest focus on cardiovascular care, best-installed base for treating cancer, and more.
“After the success of our 2017 ranking, we wanted to build on that and share even more data with healthcare professionals and the general public,” explains Guillaume Corpart, CEO and founder of Global Health Intelligence (GHI). “For the 2018 ranking report, we expanded to cover seven analysis categories—nearly twice as many as in 2017—for eight of the largest hospital markets in Latin America,” says Corpart. And while the 2017 ranking included hospital groups, the 2018 version of HospiRank features individual hospitals.

The HospiRank report can be downloaded from Global Health Intelligence’s website.
Because market sizes, regulatory frameworks and access differ by market, GHI created its ranking by identifying the top hospitals in each country. For more specific reports for the best-equipped hospitals in specific countries—including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Peru and Puerto Rico—journalists should contact GHI directly.
“We hope that HospiRank can offer some insights for Latin American hospital administrators and also help patients get a sense of the resources available in their countries,” says Corpart.
