Glass Artist Heather Dawson Releases The Bees Knees Collection to Promote Bee Friendly Gardens
Vibrant Garden Art; Glass Flowers Designed with Bees in Mind
WINNIPEG, Manitoba, May 28, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Manitoba artist Heather Dawson, owner of Glass by Heather, is set to release her newest collection, The Bees Knees, this week on May 29, 2020.
Heather is known for using bright and vibrant colours in her work, allowing her customers to bring everlasting colour into their homes and lives. This collection is certainly no exception, with vibrant shades to delight gardeners and bee lovers everywhere. “People are looking for things to add happiness to their lives right now. I am a firm believer that vibrant colour can really have a positive impact on our day. I try to share that happiness through the colour in my glass art,” says Heather.
For the first time, Heather has created an entire product line of popular, and customer favourite, spring flowers. The new Bees Knees Collection is scheduled for release on May 29, 2020.
“There are lots of articles out there about how to help keep bees healthy – some of the best ways to keep them healthy are to make sure you are reducing your usage of pesticides, planting bee-friendly flowers, and giving them a safe place to drink water,” Heather mentioned. “I want to promote healthy environments, being outdoors and enjoying nature. Bees are extremely important to our environment and food supply, more than a lot of people realize.”
The collection will be sold exclusively on her website – glassbyheather.com – and these limited products are expected to sell out quickly.
The bee bowls are designed to add joyful colour to gardens and patios while providing safe water for bees and other insects. Shaped to prevent over-filling, glass beads provide safe footing for bees in the water.
All of the items are handmade with non-fading glass (manufacturer-coloured), which means gardeners will be able to enjoy the brilliant colours for as long as they own the piece.
