GLA University, Mathura to Organize Workshop on 'Handling of Analytical Instruments'
Online, February 26, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Institute of Pharmaceutical Research at GLA University, Mathura (U.P.) is organizing a workshop on "Handling of Analytical Instruments" on 22nd March, 2014. The workshop aims at providing scientists, researchers, academicians and technologists engaged in pharmaceutical sciences with a common platform to exchange innovative ideas and discuss the use of technologies.
The one day workshop will expose participants to instruments such as HPLC, UV/Vis Spectroscopy, FTIR, Biochemical Analyzer and Brookfield Viscometer. They will learn from interesting presentations on the theory of instruments, effects of testing parameter adjustment, and focused applications. The workshop will focus on training sessions and discussions on recent advancements in technology. Such techniques will be useful for all practicing scientists, researchers and academicians. The primary aim of the workshop is to enhance knowledge in the field of pharmaceutical analysis.
Faculty members and students from Pharmaceutical Research department at GLA will attend the workshop. Students from other departments are also invited. Graduate & post graduate students from basic and applied life sciences courses such as B.Sc., M.Sc., B. Pharm, B. Tech, M. Pharm, M. Tech, and Research Scholars will receive important training sessions during the workshop. The organizing committee comprises of Shri Narayan Das Agrawal, Chancellor of GLA University; Prof. D. S. Chauhan, Vice-chancellor of GLA University; Prof. Pradeep Mishra, Director of Institute of Pharmaceutical Research at GLA University; and Dr. Harlokesh Narayan Yadav, HOD of Institute of Pharmaceutical Research at GLA University.
