09th March 2010: GITS food, a pioneer of high quality and healthy packaged food in India have taken a new step towards online marketing by starting a community website called "CutTheFuss". With the boom of the Internet, Online marketing provides a great platform for companies to reach out to a global audience. GITS is one of the first companies in the packaged food Industry to go "online".

Unlike other online campaigns, CutTheFuss is not just about promoting the GITS brand, but rather a platform for internet users to literally "cut the fuss" from their daily lives. The Website hosts live articles on various segments like travel, food, overseas education among others. The microsite is an attempt by GITS founders to connect with the internet savvy consumer through fun-filled and light content.

The Marketing of Gits and the Online initiative is headed by GITS director Mr. Sahil Gilani. Mr.Gilani realized the amount of strain an average person goes through on a daily basis and his aim was to provide a respite to those just like Gits "cuts the fuss" in the daily cooking issues for people. The microsite was launched in early January 2010, and already has fans on various social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter etc. The site is not just about fun-filled articles but also provides the viewer with many informative ones like "HOW TO SURVIVE HOMESICKNESS ABROAD" and "CUTTING DOWN ON EXAMS STRESS" among many others. Gits Food also connects with food bloggers and critics who review their products for the new user.
