Currently Girls Inc. provides safe learning environments for over 400 youth daily in our four (4) sites in Hampton and Newport News. Transportation is provided daily from 21 schools in Hampton and 15 schools in Newport News to Girls Inc sites, where youth participates in homework assistance and national research based programs. In additional, Girls Inc provides affordable structured learning summer programs from 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday during the summer. Girls Inc programs and transportation prevents gang involvement as well as other risky behaviors thereby ensuring safe communities on the Peninsula. Proceeds from the fundraising gala will allow Girls Incorporated to continue to offer evidence-based programs to youths age 5-18 in the Hampton Roads communities.
