Girls Gone Rx-Los Angeles Fitness Competition on Oct 22 Hosted by Iron Battalion

Compete for a Cure for Breast Cancer! Kiki Dickson of CrossFit Games emcees Girls Gone Rx-Los Angeles, featuring over 100 of SoCal's top female athletes on Saturday, Oct 22, 2016.

Girls Gone Rx started with the idea of getting women together to benefit a great cause and wanted to do something that highlighted women’s strengths and weaknesses, the two most important parts of battling something like cancer.

Every US event benefits the charity Bright Pink. There are 40+ events throughout the US and Canada and the Los Angeles event is one of the biggest. In 2016 so far, Girls Gone Rx has raised over $70,000 for Bright Pink!

"Compete for a Cure! Our all-women competition encourages fun and fitness while raising awareness for Breast Cancer."

This team building event helps teach participants to be strong even when they’re feeling weak, but sometimes be willing to be weak and allow your team to support you. It helps women learn to fight through obstacles and overcome them while learning to be strong, confident and fearless.

“Compete for a Cure! Our all-women competition encourages fun and fitness while raising awareness for Breast Cancer,” said Jason Graeb of Iron Battalion CrossFit.
