"GIM is committed to meritocracy, and ethnic and gender diversity within the classroom," says Prof. Rakesh Shrivastava, Admissions Chairperson, GIM. "These scholarships are meant to encourage high performers with demonstrated academic excellence because of the value they bring to the classroom, the learning environment, their peers and later to industry and society."

Applicants to the 2014-16 batch do not need to apply separately for the scholarships. Candidates offered admissions in the First Merit List will be eligible for the scholarship scheme of GIM. Scholarship winners will not be eligible for tuition fee waiver, extended by GIM to certain specified categories. As per the norms, those offered scholarships will have to submit the specified documents to ascertain their financial status. The scholarship will be disbursed in 2 installments; 50% in the first year and 50% in the second year - subject to the student securing a CGPA of 5.6 and above in the first year.
GIM has been steadily building its reputation as one of the top tier management institutes. This year, the placement numbers indicate an increased appreciation of GIM graduates by the industry.
