George Clooney Marries Amal Alamuddin In Venice

After being known for the most eligible bachelor in Hollywood, George Clooney is officially off the market. He married his fiancee Amal Alamuddin in Italy over the weekend.

On Sept. 27, American actor George Clooney and his British fiancee Amal Alamuddin made their relationship official after a six-month long engagement.

Because of the fame Clooney holds in the states, the wedding photos are worth a lot of money. It was rumored that the official price tag for them was well in the seven figures. Clooney reported that the money will be given to charity. There has been speculation going around the Internet that the photos could be worth as much as $13 million.

The wedding of Clooney and Alamuddin took place at the Hotel Cipriani in Venice, Italy. Guests of the wedding included Matt Damon, Anna Wintour, Bono, Cindy Crawford and John Krasinki.

The entire building was rented out for the occasion costing the couple over $60,000 a night.

Other major expenses for the big even were the flowers costing around $250,000 and the booze, which the final tab came in around $88,000.

Alamuddin stunned guests as she walked down the aisle in a custom Oscar de la Renta gown. The elegant dress featured French lace, hand-embroidered pearls and diamante accents with a full circular train. Clooney was dressed in Giorgio Armani with a simple tuxedo and white shirt finished with a black bow tie.

The wedding weekend lasted four days for the newlyweds. On Sept. 28, the couple and their guests enjoyed an exquisite dinner at the Granaries of the Republic.
