Generations Bank is Celebrating 110th Anniversary As Foremost Community Bank

Generations Bank, an Arkansas community bank with nine locations throughout the state, is observing 110 years of operation in October. The Generations Bank team has proudly served communities in south and northwest Arkansas for more than a century, and looks forward to another 110 years of continued dedication.

Jon Harrell, chairman of the board, represents the fifth generation of the Harrell family to lead Generations Bank. The Harrell family, and the entire Generations Bank team, is committed to providing Arkansas communities a friendly place for any banking need.

Generations Bank began in 1907 in Harrell, Ark., as Calhoun County Bank and was later known as First Bank. First Bank was recently changed to Generations Bank to honor the bank’s rich history and heritage and to recognize the generations of customers served.
