Online, March 17, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Open a new account with G4S International Logistics and the company will donate $1 to Jewelers for Children for each box shipped through the month of March--up to 500 boxes per new account.
Since its inception in 1999, Jewelers for Children (JFC) has raised more than $35 million for its partner charities: Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, St. Jude's Research Hospital, Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric AIDS Foundation and National CASA Association.
"Our parent company, G4S, has long been committed to youth worldwide," says Gregg McPherson, G4S International Logistics President, Diamonds & Jewelry Division. "We wanted to extend that commitment within the industry we service-diamonds and jewelry."
Through the month of March, G4S International Logistics is offering two specials. For new accounts, it will donate $1 for every box shipped, up to 500 boxes total. For existing accounts, the company will match donations of up to $50 made to JFC.
"We are thrilled to have G4S involved in Jewelers for Children," said David Rocha, JFC executive director. "Working with such a strong partner on a program that benefits jewelers and children in need, and helps raise the visibility of JFC, is a win/win for everybody involved."
