Fur Bearing Trout Hockey Team Wins in Shootout
Online, June 25, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Friday night the Fur Bearing Trout won in an exciting shootout over undefeated rival Plano Team 4 at the Dr. Pepper Star Center in Plano, Texas. After Plano Team 4 went up 2 - 0 in the 1st period, the Trout came back with an unprecedented 4 unanswered goals with Phil, Paul, Sean, and once again Phil lighting the lamp. Down 4 - 2, the other team clawed their way back and tied the game sending it to overtime, with Aaron shutting the other side out for the win. Lennie commented on the game "It was close, but we won" as he was having some beer in the locker room after the game. Many thanks to the Spawn trout players who came and helped the Old trout take a much needed victory over Plano 4. Bad boy Charles ended up with a Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalty, to which he responded "It was the other guys fault", and in fact the other guy received a 10 minute misconduct.
The results for the Spawn Trout Hockey team were not as pretty. Suffering a 5 - 0 loss to the Nordiques, Shawn vowed "We will get our revenge on Gabe and the rest of his goons. Wait until next time we play". On a sad note, Laurie and Cooper failed to bring beer so everyone had to abruptly leave the locker room after the game in search of liquid refreshments. Later in the crossbar Sarah, Rene and Kim joined some of the team in several pitchers of what was ever on tap, getting kicked out at 12:25 am.
Castle was still absent, this time frolicknig in Italy. Last seen in Milan's Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Castle was spinning the bulls testicles hoping for good luck with all the other tourists.
