Fuoco Group LLP is proud to announce the merger of AIB Forensics to form Fuoco Fraud & Forensics LLC, doing business as Fuoco Forensics a division of Fuoco Group that will focus on analyzing, interpreting, summarizing and presenting complex financial and business-related disputes resulting from legal proceedings, financial investigations, and mediation.

One of the largest CPA and consulting firms headquartered in New York and Hauppauge, Fuoco Group (www.fuoco.com) welcomes and names Alan I. Blass, CPA, CFE Director within the Forensics division. "Alan will greatly enhance our forensic and litigation support experience," said Managing Partner Lou J. Fuoco, CPA. "Alan brings not only a depth of expertise, but an entrepreneurial spirit to our firm."

The merger with AIB Forensics will expand Fuoco Group's forensic accounting and litigation support services beyond its current focus in the Metro New York and Northeast to the Southeast, especially Florida, Fuoco said.

"I was looking to expand my business to both New York and Long Island, as well as South Florida, so this was a match made in heaven," said Alan Blass, formerly of AIB who will serve as Fuoco Forensics' director. The Fuoco Group also has offices in Florida.

AIB's handful of employees have moved to the Hauppauge office, and Blass said he expects to bring on several more as a result, especially in the South Florida area.

This is the second merger the Fuoco Group has conducted this year. In January, Fuoco Group acquired the East Meadow-based IT firm XT Group. The acquisition became known as Fuoco Technology and has moved into a Fuoco-owned building in Hauppauge that has since become known as the Long Island Tech Mall.
