"I would like to thank our fans and the people down at Fox Music USA for this award. It really is a reflection of all the hard work put in to making the best record we could," Guerra said by phone just before a gig in Florida. "And of course a huge thank you to studio producer Joe "Bluecat" Trevino for his hard work and tireless efforts to help us get our record out there."
Based out of San Antonio, Texas, The Michael Guerra Band celebrates what indie music is all about taking the craftsmanship of the legendary Doug Sahm, infusing the rollicking soul of Flaco Jimenez and the corazón de Los Lobos then adding the talent of a Los Angeles Texican resulting in The Michael Guerra Band.
