Fort Stockton Nursing Center Announces New Ownership
Online, January 14, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Trinity Healthcare, LLC ("Trinity Healthcare") is pleased to announce that an affiliate acquired the operations of Fort Stockton Nursing Center effective January 1, 2014. Trinity Healthcare is a Fort Worth, Texas based company specializing in the operation and management of senior housing in the Texas market.
According to Ryan Harrington, President and CEO of Trinity Healthcare, he sees an excellent fit between the facility and his company's approach to resident care. "One of the things that initially attracted us to Fort Stockton Nursing Center was their long history of putting the residents first. I have family in the area and I understand the importance of having quality care for residents of Fort Stockton and the surrounding region. We look forward to continuing this tradition of valuing our residents and being an integral part of the local community."
There will be significant improvements in the near future with a planned renovation of the facility. Trinity Healthcare has also brought in a new therapy team that includes full time physical and occupational therapists. Due to the planned renovation and to better reflect the recent introduction of a more robust therapy department, the facility name will be changed to Fort Stockton Living & Rehabilitation. While the name will be changing, residents will continue to see all the familiar faces providing personalized care.
The goal is to make the transition as seamless as possible for the residents and their families. Doug Streckert, the facility's Administrator, confirms the staff's excitement. "We see so many benefits to working with the new owners. Their plans to invest in the facility and a focus on resident centered care are exciting for both our residents and staff. Please take the opportunity to come by and say hello."
