CAMP 76 was created in memory of former University of Tennessee Volunteer and National Football League standout Harry Galbreath. The purpose of the camp is to assist in the development of children who want to excel both on and off the field.

The 3rd Annual CAMP 76 will take place on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Johnny Long Training Academy, 2958 Willow Point Way, Knoxville, TN from 7:30 a.m. to Noon.

CAMP 76 is a free one day basic football skills camp for Youth ages 6-12 and 13-18 conducted and coached by University of Tennessee, NFL Athletes and players both past and present. The camp includes a t-shirt & lunch for all participates.

CAMP 76 was created in memory of former University of Tennessee Volunteer and National Football League standout Harry Galbreath. Harry was born in Clarksville, Tennessee, and after graduating from Clarksville High School, he attended the University of Tennessee and was later drafted by the Miami Dolphins of the NFL and was named to the NFL All-Rookie Team. He later played for the Green Bay Packers and ended his career with the New York Jets.

Off the field, Harry was always involved in helping youth and athletes, even in his college days. He was active with the National Incarcerated Parents and Families Network later in life.

The love of football always kept Harry involved in the sport. When he retired from the NFL, Harry became offensive line coach at Austin Peay State University back at home in Clarksville, then coached at Tennessee State University in Nashville. He later became offensive line coach at Hampton University in Virginia. He later returned to become strength and conditioning coach at his alma mater, the University of Tennessee.

Harry's sudden passing in 2010 at the young age of 45 was an incredible loss not only to the world of football, but especially to his extended network of family and friends. Everybody who knew Harry has a story to tell about how he touched their lives. In addition to his incredible talent on the football field, his laughs, smiles and his gripping handshakes are missed by everyone who knew him. Camp76 is a continuing effort to keep the legacy of Harry Galbreath alive for young athletes for generations to come.

The purpose of the camp is to assist in the development of children who want to excel both on and off the field through football. CAMP 76 adheres to six principles which make the CAMP 76 experience beneficial and educational for all involved: (1) Make It Fun. (2) Limit Standing Around. (3) Everyone Plays. (4) Teach Every Position To Every Participant. (5) Emphasize The Fundamentals. (6) Incorporate A Progression Of Skill Development For Every Participant.
