OMAHA, Neb., February 19, 2020 (Newswire.com) - Flywheel is excited to announce that it recently completed and obtained AICPA’s Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type 2 examination report. This report provides detailed information regarding Flywheel’s policies, procedures and control environment relevant to security, availability, and confidentiality of data. The certification further reinforces Flywheel’s leading position on compliance and security within the WordPress hosting industry.

Flywheel’s SOC 2 examination was conducted by Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C. (MHM), a top ten public accounting firm based out of Kansas City, Missouri. MHM worked with a number of Flywheel departments ranging from engineering to finance over several months to assess how Flywheel handles security as a company and how they handle their customers’ data.
