Five Bridges Advisors Appoints Dr. Cliff Rossi as Chief Risk and Regulatory Advisor
Bethesda, MD, October 4, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Five Bridges Advisors, LLC (http://fivebridgesllc.com) announced today that Dr. Clifford Rossi has joined the firm as Chief Risk and Regulatory Advisor. In this role, Dr. Rossi will help expand the firm’s capabilities related to risk management, capital planning and regulatory compliance. He will focus on modeling and analytics leadership, concentrating his efforts with clients on the intersection of analytics and risk management.

Dr. Rossi is an Executive-in-Residence and Professor of the Practice at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland, a position that he will continue while serving at Five Bridges. Prior to entering academia, Dr. Rossi had nearly 25 years' experience in banking and government, having held senior executive roles in risk management at several of the largest financial services companies. His most recent positions included Chief Economist for Radian Group, Inc. and managing director and chief risk officer for Citigroup's Consumer Lending Group. Dr. Rossi also held senior risk management and analytics positions at Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.
Dr. Rossi is the author of The Risk Professional’s Survival Guide: Applied Best Practices in Risk Management and will continue to publish a regular column called “Risk Doctor”, in American Banker. He is a frequent guest on financial television news programs and is often quoted in major news dailies including the Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg BusinessWeek. He received his PhD from Cornell University.
