Fishbowl Solutions Announces Release of Cloud Sync Application for Oracle WebCenter Portal

Solution to Integrate Oracle Documents Cloud Service and Other Popular Enterprise File Sync and Share Solutions with Oracle WebCenter

Fishbowl Solutions, an Oracle Gold partner, has announced the release of Cloud Sync Application for Oracle WebCenter Portal. The solution connects Oracle Documents Cloud Service, Google Drive, and Dropbox to Oracle WebCenter Portal, ensuring that portal users can access and sync important documents across Cloud instances and manage them within one system of record.

Cloud Sync leverages the REST API and Oracle’s Cloud Applink to provide provisioned users with easy access to content in the cloud. The solution includes a simple interface for syncing content to the portal from cloud storage. Users can drag and drop content items or browse and select to upload files. Once content is synced, any associated metadata is managed by Oracle WebCenter, ensuring version control and overall retention.

"Cloud Sync Application for Oracle WebCenter Portal is an important new addition to Fishbowl's content management services. The cloud is the future, and I'm looking forward to Fishbowl being a part of the new era in enterprise software technology."

Tim Gruidl, President

Fishbowl developed Cloud Sync in response to the growing popularity of cloud-based platforms. Cloud Sync will help companies minimize their investments in economical cloud solutions while ensuring high-value information is securely stored and managed within Oracle WebCenter.

Fishbowl announced Cloud Sync Application for Oracle WebCenter Portal at Oracle OpenWorld in October. On Thursday, December 10, Fishbowl will be holding a webinar to discuss key takeaways from OpenWorld, including new information about Oracle’s cloud services.
