First Ever Childhelp Mega Raffle Launches in Phoenix

Childhelp, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children faced with child abuse and neglect announces its first-ever Mega Raffle in Phoenix.

The Childhelp Mega Raffle will giving away more than 2,900 noteworthy prizes, valued at more than $2.3 million. Tickets are available to the public for purchase beginning Friday, February 5 through March 24 or sell out. Net proceeds from the raffle will benefit Childhelp and its programs and services for the prevention, intervention and treatment of child abuse and neglect.

“We are thrilled to launch the Childhelp Mega Raffle in Phoenix,” said Michael Medoro, chief development officer of Childhelp. ““Proceeds from the raffle will allow Childhelp to reach and protect more children and get them the services and support they need to remain safe and begin to heal.”

Raffle participants have a one in 20 chance of winning prizes, including two grand prize packages, a selection of 13 new cars, 24 dreams vacations, and the latest electronics, along with hundreds of other luxury items. Tickets purchased by March 3 are eligible to win the Early Bird prizes and then reentered into the final prize drawing for prizes on Wednesday, March 30.

The grand prize packages include a Meritage home package valued at $700,000. Grand prize #2 is the 2016 Maserati GranTurismo Sport plus cash. Grand prize winners can also opt for their prize in cash.

Early Bird prize packages: A trip for two to London and a 2016 Lexus RX, plus cash or a trip for two to Monte Carlo and a 2016 Mercedes GLA250W, plus cash. Both Early Bird packages are valued at $70,000.  

Childhelp Mega Raffle Director, Kathy Rice says, “I look for prizes that people dream about,” many of which are purchased from local vendors to ensure the raffle not only benefits Childhelp, but also the Phoenix-metro economy.

“As many as five children die every day as a result of child abuse in the United States, and that is five too many” adds Rice. “The raffle will shed light on this reality and provide resources to reach and help more children.”

Prizes

Two top winners will be drawn on Wednesday March 30, 2016 to receive:

Mega Prize #1: Meritage Home package valued at $700,000 or $700,000 cash option.

Mega Prize #2:  2016 Maserati GranTurismo Sport plus cash or $150,000 cash option.

Early Bird Prizes

Raffle participants who purchase their tickets before Thursday, March 3, 2016, will be eligible to win an Early Bird prize.

Early Bird Prize #1: A vacation package for two to London, England, a 2016 Lexus RX, plus $20,000

Early Bird Prize #2:  A vacation package for two to Monte Carlo, Monaco, a 2016 Mercedes GLA250W, plus $16,000

Early Bird winners will be drawn Wednesday, March 9, 2016.
