JOHANNESBURG, South Africa, March 11, 2019 (Newswire.com) - Be Agile (Pty) Ltd (in partnership with Agile Transformation, Inc.), based in South Africa, is excited to present the very first Enterprise Business Agility Strategist Certification Workshop in Africa. Be Agile is a leader in business agility consulting in the African market and its CEO, Myles Hopkins, was the first and currently only person to be certified by Agile Transformation, Inc. as an Enterprise Business Agility Strategist in Africa.
This five-day workshop is intended for senior leaders and change agents who are actively transforming their organization to learn about the key pillars needed for successful business agility transformations. Delegates will walk away with concrete solutions and participate in activities tailored to their specific transformation challenges.
Transformation leaders will learn how to enable enterprise level business agility transformations including business areas and beyond the technology groups. Delegates will spend time exploring each of the seven pillars within the Enterprise Business Agility Model© in detail, developing the skills necessary to lead a transformation within each pillar.
“Bringing this workshop and knowledge to South Africa is opportune as many large organizations in South Africa are well into their technology Agile journey and are now starting to hit a ceiling which they can’t move beyond as they have not looked at Agile as an enterprise-wide transformation imperative,” says Hopkins.
The workshop is accredited by the International Consortium for Agile (ICAgile), allowing delegates to earn the ICAgile Certified Professional in Business Agility Foundations (ICP-BAF) certification. Offering this workshop in South Africa is a collaborative effort to bring top-quality, accredited courses to regions that are embracing business agility.
“ICAgile has been working with a number of organizations in South Africa along their agile journey and we are thrilled to see interest in the region moving towards true business agility,” said Shannon Ewan, ICAgile’s managing director.
Following the workshop, delegates will also participate in a safari in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve, which is two hours outside of Johannesburg. This experience will ensure that delegates augment the rich learnings they acquire from the workshop with learning about themselves, leadership and teamwork while exploring the local attractions.
