First Annual California Green Fair
Online, June 15, 2010 (Newswire.com) - The California State Association of Green Employees (SAGE) will host the first annual California Green Fair on June 16, 2010.
Kids Korner: A section of the fair will be dedicated to kids activities and entertainment, including:
* Eco-smart Jewelery Making
* Reusable Bag Decoration
* Face Painting
* A Special Appearance by Recycle Rex!
The public may bring the following materials to be recycled at the event: batteries, paper, e-waste, light bulbs, old keys, plastic bags, eye glasses, and egg cartons.
Exhibitors in attendance include Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD), Whole Foods, Y-Not Recycling, Southside Art Center, Department of Water Rights, Integrated Waste Management Board, Sacramento Area Sustainable Business Program, the Business Environmental Resource Center (BERC) and more.
The Toyota FCHV-adv and the Daimler F-cell vehicles will be on display.
