Firm Enhances Construction Litigation Practice with New Hire
Online, December 13, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Florida law firm Railey Harding & Allen today announced that it has strengthened its Commercial and Construction Litigation Practice with the addition of Robert A. Crabill to the Orlando, FL office.
Mr. Crabill's practice focuses on construction litigation, contracting licensing, contractor's facing state disciplinary action, and regulatory matters. Crabill has represented the construction industry and construction professionals on a national basis handling complex commercial and construction litigation cases since 2002.
His experience also includes Chief Construction Attorney and Executive Director for the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation. Crabill was responsible for the administration of Florida's construction licensing program, and liaison between the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board (FCILB) and the Department of Business & Professional Regulation (DBPR). In addition, he was acting liaison between the Florida Legislature, the FCILB and DBPR, and supervised Board staff while presiding over Board meetings.
"Robert's established track record aligns with the Firm's strategy to strengthen our Commercial and Construction Litigation Practice for Florida businesses," said Lilburn Railey, founding partner of Railey Harding & Allen with 30 years experience in Commercial and Construction Litigation and Mediation. "His experience with state licensing matters will be invaluable to our clients throughout Florida, especially having working knowledge of the processes and requirements of the boards, departments, and legislature."
"Construction licensing is such a nuanced area of law where Florida businesses continue to struggle," said Bo Sutton, Partner and Board Certified Construction Law Specialist. "We are excited about the licensing and state-level experience that Robert brings to our firm. Few attorneys attain his level of competence in this area."
