Firewood Fundraising Program In Central Oregon Benefits Local Community

Online, August 5, 2011 (Newswire.com) - BEND, OREGON: Central Oregon Firewood, Inc of Bend, Oregon wants to make a difference in the community by providing a firewood fundraising program here in central Oregon. A firewood fundraiser is a unique method of raising money sustainably for causes while providing a commodity that people need every year. At Central Oregon Firewood, Inc we believe that it is very important to help your local community and for everyone to help sustain it long term.

To do our part we have developed several programs that were designed with the intent of using a commodity like firewood as a platform to help raise money for school programs, non-profit groups, youth sports, veteran support, homeless support, and any other good causes that need to raise money for support related missions.

Participating groups will take orders for firewood cut right here in central Oregon, keeping resources and spending dollars at home in our community. The Firewood can be sold in small easy to handle bundles or in ¼, ½ and full cord sizes.

Once the orders are turned in, COF will take care of invoicing, delivery and payment collection. Groups will then receive a donation check based on a percentage of their total fundraising sales.

All of our firewood comes from some of the best timber in the industry. The logs are carefully selected for species, size and quality to insure only the best firewood is delivered to your door. We do not believe in using random logs with unknown quality to fill our firewood orders. We feel that the only way to guarantee our product is to be hands on with everything.
