Finnish Startup Aims to Create Common Good with Crowdfunding Campaign

Oulu, Finland, August 7, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Finnish startup Mekiwi Ltd ("Mekiwi") has just launched their very first crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo crowdfunding service. Mekiwi's goal is to gather at least $50,000 for their further product development activities for their product Wimble. Wimble is a smart mobile application for managing life, time and social relationships in a whole new level. With crowdfunding Mekiwi is aiming to bring Wimble for iOS -platform along with Android –platform. Wimble will be released for Android during autumn 2014. In addition to these Mekiwi plants to bring Wimble also for Windows Phone and Web.

Mekiwi explains that the more users their application has the more everyone will benefit from it. Also the more platforms Wimble supports the more users will get value from it. Mekiwi aims towards creating common good via users’ social networks. This all is based on the network effect.
