Finnish Packaging Company Bax Offers Wide Variety of Branded Retail Bags
Online, May 20, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Bax packaging products was established in 2003 in Finland. Since the first day of its operations, our company has focused on wide variety of packaging products. Almost any product comes with some kind of packaging. The aim of packaging can be simply protection but usually it also conveys information to the users. A good package should also be attractive since it is the face of the product for consumers.
Procurement of packaging products can be quite challenging. Finding several suppliers, comparing prices and other conditions then managing the logistics requires significant work. However, for all clients the most daunting task of all is to ensure the continuity of the supply; a change in the agreed flow of packaging products can have detrimental consequences. Since most packaging products are custom made (size and printing) it is impossible to compensate the shortage from other sources with a short notice. Therefore, packaging customers are usually quite risk aversive and they feel quite uncomfortable to consider alternative offers.
Having recognized this problem, we came up with a solution; we set-up a network of several packaging manufacturers then assessed their capacities, production qualities and costs. Before we approach a customer, we identified two criteria for ourselves: first, we make sure that we have the best market price by comparing several rival manufacturers and second, we always have a backup manufacturer with similar cost and quality structure in case the first one fails after an agreement. Hence, our customers would get better prices and secure the flow of packaging items.
This method has proved to be the right one; at the moment we have over 500 customers around Finland. We supply plastic bags, paper bags, nonwoven and canvas bags, packaging films and other flexible packaging items. Almost all our products are custom-made. That means, for every order we set-up a production project and monitor each step until delivery time. This is a high stress job (see the second paragraph) but we do not let our customers the same way ever.
