Financial Messenger Telegraf.Money Under the Management of the New Owners Will Become Messenger Bank

A businessman from Denmark, Kent Kristensen, together with a group of partners became the main co-owner of the American company Telegraf Money LLC, which develops the financial messenger platform Telegraf.Money (Mobile Decentralized Banking App).

Former owners sold a 70 percent stake in Telegraf Money LLC to the British company Blockchain Messenger Ltd, which is the legal successor for Clubworldconnect Ltd, owned by a businessman. In July 2017, 30 percent share of the messenger was bought before by investors from China.

Clubworldconnect was founded more than 12 years ago as an adjustable VISA/MasterCard issuer, providing money transfer services for its customers anywhere in the world without having a bank account via SMS-messages from a mobile phone. The company also offered other opportunities and user-friendly features. The number of clients of the company is almost 4 million from 63 countries.

Acquisition of a share in a modern financial messenger is a deliberate move and the result of mutually beneficial negotiations. The buyer receives a ready-made social platform with the capabilities of financial transactions similar to the previous activities of the company and is part of the rapidly-growing market of applications on the blockchain. In return, the accumulated experience and connections in the financial sphere will allow Telegraf.Money to get additional opportunities for development, expand the user base of the platform thanks to the customers of Clubworldconnect and will open new opportunities for them. The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.

Telegraf.Money messenger was launched in April 2017, but has already gained popularity due to additional features. Unlike classic messengers, it allows you to communicate with people from the contact list but also to issue and receive loans, create deposits on the blockchain, transfer money and the cryptocurrency to each other on the VISA/MasterCard cards built-in in the messenger and crypto- wallets, to trade on the decentralized Exchange, develop various own services and products. In the immediate plans of the messenger, there is the complete decentralization of the Ethereum blockchain and its further transformation into a decentralized autonomous ecosystem, uniting the participants of the financial market, allowing to create, distribute, regulate and consume distributed financial products and services, the creation of the world's first decentralized Messenger Bank based on smart- contracts with further obtaining a banking license in European jurisdiction.

For these purposes, the messenger has issued its own DEBIT Coin crypto-currency of 1.000.000.000 (one billion) tokens and plans to conduct an ICO in the near future. Just three months after the release of Telegraf.Money, the Chinese company Erenhot Heng Xin Trade Co., Ltd. acquired a 30% share of the messenger. The deal size was 7M USD.
