Final Theatrical Trailer For Bang Tango Documentary Released
Online, March 26, 2013 (Newswire.com) - After two years of shooting, almost 300 hundred hours of footage, and over 40 interviews, the film 'Attack Of Life: The Bang Tango Movie' is nearing completion.
Director Drew Fortier plans on having a rough cut of the film -- which also features interviews with with current Joe LeSte fronted line-up of Bang Tango as well as former members Mark Knight, Kyle Kyle, Kyle Stevens and Tigg Ketler -- done by late spring and is aiming for an L.A. premiere around July or August.
"Its gonna be a fun film," Fortier continues. "The band's story is very unique, which is why I was drawn to it in the first place. The film will have a great sense of humour but at the same time be very bittersweet in a way... even heartbreaking at times."
When asked if the film could lead to a reunion of the original Bang Tango band Fortier commented, "I think it may pull on some of the original member's heart strings, just reliving everything -- I mean, this movie is pretty much a documented tale of their past and achievements. There's still some loose ends to their career which is addressed in the film and I think this whole thing might just reignite something. It would be the most flattering thing as a filmmaker if they did... but of course, if not, everybody has their own careers right now and are very happy. Joe LeSte's got his Bang Tango, Mark Knight has his Unsung Heroes project (which also includes Tigg Ketler), Kyle Kyle has Mona Lisa Overdrive, and Kyle Stevens is about to put a trio together. So everyone is still very active in music and happy."
The final trailer for the film can be seen below.
