Atlanta, GA, April 4, 2017 (Newswire.com) - FieldTurf will be the official playing surface for the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium when that facility opens this July.  FieldTurf --- the turf of choice for most NFL and MLS teams and the world leader in artificial surfacing --- today announced it will be the official playing surface at Mercedes-Benz Stadium as well as at the indoor practice field at the Atlanta Falcons’ training complex in Flowery Branch, GA.  FieldTurf will also provide the playing surfaces at the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Training Ground, Atlanta United’s new training facility.

Both the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons and MLS’s Atlanta United will play their home games on the FieldTurf at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.  The Atlanta United will play the first game there on July 30 when they host Orlando City.
