FCEDA, techUK Present March 16th Business Seminar in London
London, March 10, 2016 (Newswire.com) - The Fairfax County Economic Development Authority executives and security-industry specialists from the US and Britain will present a March 16th seminar to advise UK business representatives, especially those from cybersecurity and related fields, on how best to expand into the US market.
“Connect and Grow in the US through Innovative Security” is being presented by the FCEDA and technology organization techUK at techUK’s 10 St. Bride Street offices in London. The half-day event will be of particular interest to small- and medium-sized enterprises.
“The cybersecurity business in the US and around the world is exploding and UK firms interested in the US market need to know that Fairfax County is quickly becoming one of the prime locations anywhere for public- and private-sector opportunities,” said Gerald L. Beginning at 10 a.m., the seminar will highlight key opportunities and challenges relevant to expansion as well as advice for companies in reaching the right decision about entering the US market. Discussions will focus on commercial options and market-entry strategies.

Case studies about success in the US market will be presented by Ed Jesson, president and CEO of Fairfax County-based OBXtek and Stewart Hill, senior vice president of business development at ServicePower, which was founded in the UK and has offices in Fairfax County.
Attendees will be able to network with the presenting organisations and companies at a lunch following the presentations.
