Famed New Orleanian Tenor to Sing in Honor of Katrina

Fernando del Valle performs at the historical St. Mary's Assumption church for the 5th anniversary of hurricane Katrina.

Five years have passed since the devastation of hurricane Katrina. Many celebrities are supporting the 5th anniversary of this catastrophic event with open arms. One such celebrity is operatic tenor, Fernando del Valle.

Del Valle, a native New Orleanian, started his career in New Orleans at age 18, as tenor soloist in Bach's "St. Matthew Passion" in 1982 with the New Orleans Philharmonic. Since then, Del Valle has niched out an eminent singing career positioning himself on stage amongst the world's most prodigious opera companies.
Del Valle will be singing at St. Mary's Assumption Church on Sunday, August 29th at 10:30am.
