Fairview Microwave Introduces a New 7/16 Connector

Online, November 15, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Fairview Microwave has introduced a new 7/16 panel mount flange receptacle connector, the SC4911. Featuring trimetal plating for low PIM microwave and cellular applications, the SC4911 will find applications in both prototype & production of wireless, cellular, and in-building applications. The 7/16 coaxial connector is increasing popular in microwave and rf applications where power levels are high pushing the limits of standard type N connectors. The SC4911 is available from stock, as are the other connectors at Fairview Microwave. The SC4911 features BeCu female contacts with gold plating on the 7/16 side, and a solder pot connection on the other side. The flange connection is convenient as recommended torque values for 7/16 connectors are 220 in-lbs. Mounting holes are thru type, though threaded holes can be accomodated on a custom basis, please allow 8 weeks for customiaztion.
