Fairview Microwave Introduces A Low PIM Coaxial Hybrid

Online, August 30, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Fairview Microwave announces the introduction of a Coaxial 90 degree hybrid, the SH3729, with Low PIM (passive intermodulation) less than 150 dBc. Key specifications are a frequency range of 698-2700 mhz, maximum vswr of 1.2:1, isolation better than 25 dB, dissipative loss of less than 0.3 dB, N-Female connectors, an environmental rating of IP65, and a power handling rating of 100 watts. The N female connectors feature BeCu contacts and 50 microinches of gold plating. IP65 provides for moisture sealing. A coaxial hybrid such as this can be used either as a power splitter with 90 degrees between the outputs, or as a combiner with half of the combined two signals going into a terminated port. The SH3729 is expected to find applications in Cellular, DAS, UMTS, In-Building, WiFi, LTE, and other communication systems where low PIM performance is critical in dense high power signal environments.
