Failsafe Payments Added Subscriptions Feature to CertoPay Processing Platform

Failsafe Payments, European e-payments processor, added recurring billing to its processing platform of CertoPay solutions.

When Failsafe Payments launched CertoPay, it promised to integrate new options and services in the system. Now the company is fulfilling its promises: it has already added not only payment modules for shopping carts but also has developed recurring billing service. Recurring billing is one of the most popular services among Internet merchants. They usually require subscriptions feature when selling an access to content on their sites which is time limited.

Internet merchants want expiry of the paid period to be automatically monitored and renewed charging customer's bank card for relevant amount. Now this service is available with CertoPay too. In fact, the recurring billing feature can be used not only for selling the access to the site content but also for accepting payments from clients for the same amount at regular intervals.

Chargeback blocking means that the card issuing bank is responsible for verification of transactions. The merchant is not responsible for reimbursing the client in case the merchant has payer authentication.

Also Failsafe Payments is planning to implement a password management system. Internet merchants often provide the access to the content giving customer a login and password. If the merchant doesn't use the system controlling password expiry, Failsafe Payments system will automatically monitor this process.

The buyer or the customer support service can cancel the subscription. The customer care service of Failsafe Payments can also do it. The customer will regularly receive a notice about the current subscription expiry before the next scheduled subscription renewal. The customer will also be noticed about the subscription renewal for the next period. If the customer is not going to renew the subscription, he will be offered to cancel it.
